Life as a Mature Art Student

I retired at the end of September 2017 after a career spanning 39 years and 11 months. I could not wait for 40 years! Once I retired and after a few holidays, I started evening art classes for the next few years. I enjoyed these so much that I started to think about a full-time college course. Is 60 too old to go to college? I kept asking myself. After getting encouragement from the evening class lecturers and reconciling that I'm potentially depriving a young person of college placement, I decided to apply for NC Art & Design Portfolio Development at Forth Valley College, Stirling Campus. I'm currently in my second year of BA Art & Design.
